Perfumer, sommelier, taster and certified sensory trainer, Marco Bazzara has attended several courses and advanced training masterclasses at institutions and professionals in the perfumery sector holding certifications in natural perfumery, olfactory training and aromatherapy, as well as specializing in fragrance creation and classifying himself as finalist in the “New Luxury Awards” and obtaining a bronze medal at the “Artisan Fragrance Awards”. As a creative perfumer, he introduces a new professional figure: the “Sensory Perfumer”, a multi-sector professional eligible to experiment and evaluate flavors and fragrances by combining the universes of perfumery and sommelier.

SENSORY EDUCATION

Marco Bazzara specializes in teaching techniques and professional training, after an academic path with an economic and psychological focus, thanks to which he dedicates himself to the design and creation of training and sensorial courses as well as the management of the quality control laboratory, holding the qualification of Sensory Project Manager and Academy Director at the Bazzara Academy, a structure connected to the family business.

His continuous training leads him to deal with the selection, roasting and blending of coffee, training and comparing himself with the most famous internationally renowned sensory experts, as well as being a sensory judge for some associations. Passionate about sensory analysis aimed at different sensory contexts, Marco has obtained several licenses and qualifications relating to different food sectors, studying the sensorial aspects of wine, water, spirits, coffee, honey, tea and chocolate.
