IPA combines the technical and theoretical training of the perfumer, eligible of experiencing and analyzing fragrances through smell, with the sensory skills of the sommelier, a professional in the analysis of flavour in its aromatic, tactile and taste parameters, by applying knowledge and skills in connection to the food industry.
The “Perfume Sommellerie” program, which constitutes the Academy’s training offering, was developed and structured specifically as a higher education program for professionals and enthusiasts.
